IS BODY ARMOR REALLY 100% BULLET PROOF?
No piece of body armor can claim 100% effectiveness in stopping a bullet. However, when our products are used according to their specifications, they can indeed save your life.
IS IT LEGAL TO BUY BODY ARMOR IN THE USA?
It is legal under federal law for most US citizens to purchase body armor. The only exceptions to this rule are minors and persons with a felony conviction. Your state may or may not have further restrictions in place. If you purchase body armor from Stay Alive Body Armor, you are confirming and stating that you are a legal adult (18 years or older) and do not have a felony conviction on your police record. Stay Alive Body Armor assumes no liability for the use or misuse of any product sold on our store.
WHAT DO THE PROTECTION LEVELS MEAN (i.e. III, IIIa, IV, etc.)?
These levels are set by the NIJ (National Institute of Justice). They indicate what caliber/velocity/range a specific product is designed to repel. For a more detailed explanation of these levels and other information, you can visit the NIJ's website here.

WHAT IF I MADE A MISTAKE ON MY ORDER?
Contact us before your order has shipped and we can make the necessary changes. If your order has already shipped and you still want to make changes, you will need to follow our returns policy.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Lead times are indicated on each product description. In most cases, you can expect your order to be delivered in 10-30 days. If a product is made to order or in high demand, the lead time may be longer. If you are unsure about a product’s projected lead time, feel free to contact us before placing an order at email@example.com
HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
When you place an order, we will send you a tracking number. To check the shipping status, you must go to the corresponding carrier’s website (i.e. UPS, FedEx, USPS) and enter the tracking number.
WHAT IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER?
If there is an problem with your order, contact us with your order number and a brief description of the problem or concern. One of our team members will respond as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
WHAT IF MY PRODUCT ARRIVES DAMAGED?
In the extremely rare case that you receive a damaged product, contact us with your order number and a picture or video of the damaged product.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that your item(s) is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item(s) is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 8 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within eight business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send photos to email@example.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds:
All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
